Ganso joins Sao Paulo; Arsenal, City keen on Llorente

Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A giants Sao Paulo FC have completed the signing of former highly-rated 22-year-old Brazil international Ganso from bitter rivals Santos for a reported fee of £7.5 million, Sky Sports understands.
As part of the deal, Sao Paulo have secured 32% of Ganso’s economic rights, while investors own the remaining 68%. Furthermore, Santos will receive five percent of any profit if the play-maker is sold in the next two years.

Have Chelsea got enough forward options to challenge on all fronts?

Chelsea has big ambitions this season. Last season they ended the campaign as European champions, somehow.
This season the Blues have started their campaign off in decent style, if you take away the horrible Super Cup defeat by Atletico.
Options
Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo has good midfield options, but it seems that the Italian spent his whole transfer kitty on attacking midfielders and didn’t leave any money for an alternative option to Fernando Torres.

Saturday Premier League preview

Saturday’s Premier League schedule kicks off at 12:30 GMT at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea host Everton.
Both teams have made decent starts to their Premier League campaigns. Swansea has not beaten the visitors in 15 league and cup matches.
However, the Swans have made a really good start to their top flight campaign.
Both sides have taken seven points from their first four games of the campaign and could return to the top four with victories at the Liberty Stadium.
Everton are likely to be without striker Nikica Jelavic, who injured his knee against Newcastle on Monday night. Swansea are still without full-back Neil Taylor, who will be out of action for the rest of the season.

Mourinho open to everyone

Jose Mourinho is keeping his options open as to which team in England he will manage next and he has not ruled out a Chelsea return.
The Real Madrid boss is clear in his mind that he will return to the English top flight when his tenure at the Bernabeu ends.
After guiding Chelsea to two league titles during his three-year stay at Stamford Bridge, the 'Special One' left in September 2007 amid reports of a rift with club owner Roman Abramovich.
While the Portuguese tactician admits he is a London Blue at heart, he also insists he is a professional and as a result is keeping his options open as to the next move in his illustrious career.

Rooney misses Reds clash

Young also facing up to three more weeks on the sidelines

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed Wayne Rooney will miss Sunday's trip to Liverpool.
It had been suggested Rooney, who has been sidelined since the win over Fulham last month with a gashed thigh, could make his return from injury for the clash with Liverpool.

Liverpool v Manchester United: Sir Alex Ferguson's letter to away fans

Sir Alex Ferguson has written a letter to Manchester United supporters attending Sunday's game at Liverpool to ask that the rivalry between the sides does not cross into "personal hatred".
The fixture will be Liverpool's first home game since the findings of an independent panel investigating the Hillsborough disaster were published.
"The rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United has become almost unique in its intensity since the Premier League's balance of power shifted from Merseyside along the M62 in the early 1990s"

Juventus spoil Oscar’s night at the Bridge

Italian champions Juventus hadn’t read the script and ended up as the villains of the piece, as the Old Lady took home a 2-2 draw from Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge in the Champions League.
It looked like for so long that Brazilian youngster Oscar was set to collect the award for best newcomer, scoring two a brace on his full Chelsea debut.
In truth though, the Bianconeri deserved to take something back home with them and substitute Fabio Quagliarella’s goal ensured they took home a point.
