Saturday’s Premier League schedule kicks off at 12:30 GMT at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea host Everton.
Both
teams have made decent starts to their Premier League campaigns.
Swansea has not beaten the visitors in 15 league and cup matches.
However, the Swans have made a really good start to their top flight campaign.
Both
sides have taken seven points from their first four games of the
campaign and could return to the top four with victories at the Liberty
Stadium.
Everton are likely to be without striker Nikica Jelavic,
who injured his knee against Newcastle on Monday night. Swansea are
still without full-back Neil Taylor, who will be out of action for the
rest of the season.
Chelsea host Stoke City at Stamford Bridge
looking to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League. The
European champions have picked up three wins and a draw from their first
four Premier League encounters.
The visitors have drawn all four
of their Premier League games so far. The Potters are still looking for
their first victory of the season, but will face a massive task at
Stamford Bridge. The Blues have defeated Stoke in eight out of the last
ten games and have drawn the other two.
Southampton have lost all
four of their top flight encounters so far this season, but will be
looking to pick up something when they host Aston Villa at St Marys. The
Saints have had a difficult start to the season with encounters against
Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal.
Villa will be in
buoyant mood after claiming their top flight of the season last time out
against Swansea. The Villans have not won in 10 away games, but will be
looking at this as the chance to put that right.
Elsewhere, West
Brom host Reading at the Hawthorns. Baggies boss Steve Clarke has made a
good start to his tenure and will be looking for a third league victory
of the season. West Brom has a fantastic defensive record at home. They
have kept seven clean sheets from their last nine games at the
Hawthorns.
Reading heads to the Midlands looking for their first
Premier League victory of the season. The Royals have picked up just one
point in the Premier League this season. Brian McDermott’s men lost 3-1
to Tottenham in their last game and will be looking for an improvement
on their last display.
Wigan will be hoping to claim their second
victory of the season, as travel-sick Fulham visit the DW Stadium. Both
teams have enjoyed a mixed start to their Premier League campaigns,
Fulham have six points with Wigan on four points.
Fulham have
struggled to win away from Craven Cottage in recent seasons, but the
home side haven’t beaten the Cottagers in the last 11 Premier League
encounters.
West Ham have made a very solid start to life back in
the Premier League, taking seven points from four games. The Irons have
also kept three cleans in those four appearances in the top flight.
The
Irons host Sunderland at the Boleyn Ground hoping to move into the top
four of the Premier League. Sunderland will be hoping that new signing
Steven Fletcher continues his goal scoring form.
The Scottish
striker has scored three times in just two appearances for the Black
Cats. Should West Ham keep a clean sheet then they will equal their
record for the number of home clean sheets kept at the start of a
Premier League campaign.
